The R.J. Hedges & Associates Pre-Survey
The accreditation pre-survey is an internet-based or in-person meeting with Jeff. He reviews everything with you and makes sure that you understand everything before the accreditation surveyor comes in. This step in our process has helped each client we’ve partnered with to receive their accreditation after the Medicare Accreditation Board site visit. We have a 100% approval rate among our clients.
R.J. Hedges & Associates will ensure everyone in your facility is ready for the accreditation survey. The accreditation surveyor will ask questions to your staff to test their knowledge on the facility’s policies and procedures. Once the Pre-Survey is complete, then the accreditation survey team will be scheduled to visit your facility.
Facility Accreditation Survey
The accreditation survey is a CMS required no notice visit to your facility. This is NOT an inspection. It is a survey. The purpose of the survey is to validate compliance with the Medicare Quality Standards and related statutes. If the facility uses all the tools, training and checklists that R.J. Hedges & Associates provides, the survey should proceed efficiently and without deficiencies. We are very proud to have 100% of our facilities pass their accreditation on the first survey.
Medicare Audits
Medicare audits are increasing in their frequency. CMS and each of the four DME MAC’s have frequent changes to standards and audit procedures. R.J. Hedges & Associates strives to stay ahead of these changes and keeps our clients advised. Frequent updates to policies and procedures aids in the constant compliance of rules and regulations.
