Jeff Hedges is the president of R.J. Hedges & Associates, and "The HIPAA Guy™", a recognized
leader and advocate for community pharmacies. Jeff is the co-author of the NCPA HIPAA Security Handbook and has written numerous articles.
Jeff retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2002 after 27 years of service. His expertise of taking complex regulations and applying them to real world applications in an easy to follow format is perfect for helping pharmacies and medical supply companies. Pharmacies and medical supply companies have a vast set of changing healthcare regulations and applying them into an understandable policy and procedure manual is his greatest asset.
Jeff’s experience in Medicare accreditation is extensive. In addition, he speaks at NCPA Conventions and other professional forums on topics
such as the "Idiosyncrasies of HIPAA Regulations and Their Effect on Independent Healthcare Practices".
